Ellie and I are doing a “booze” cruise Sept 29 – Oct 4. Tentative schedule is as follows:

• Sept 29: MM > Annapolis (anchoring in Back Creek)
• Sept 30: Spend day in Annapolis (Forward Brewery)
• Oct 1: Annapolis > St Michaels (slip at Higgins Yacht Yard)
• Oct 2: Spend day in St Michaels (St Michaels Winery, Lyon Distillery, Eastern Shore Brewery)
• Oct 3: St Michaels > Cox Creek (anchor and dinghy to Cascia Winery 12-4pm)
• Oct 4: Cox Creek > MM

The last day would be the longest day with a 37NM trip. We did this leg last year, visiting the winery and then leaving for MM around 3pm and got back to MM around 10pm. This year we plan to visit the winery the day before and leave Cox Creek early in the morning Oct 4, reaching MM in the late afternoon.

There are 4-5 slips available as of today at Higgins. If you haven’t stayed at Higgins, it’s relatively inexpensive, but not the nicest marina. It works fine for us.
