We had a great time at the NC3 4th of July celebration. We raised over 300 dollars for the club at the auction . Thanks for everyone that donated their items for the club. There was many great bargains to be had. Including the club has a nice picnic table set donated by Warren Updike. The Race on Saturday we officially won by Jason O’Mara and Ellie but by the smiles on those that went out… I think we were all winners. We had up to 20 knots winds and raced with reefs in the main and jib. Saturday Craig and Linda won the Mexican Cook off with a tasty Barbacoa. Although Craig said he didn’t do much more than provide the transportation of Linda’s great dish!   

Later Saturday evening there was a fireworks display but unfortunately the thunderstorm was much more entertaining by the few that stayed under the Palvion. Some crazy lightening took place all around us. 

 

Thanks for everyone that came out and joined us. The ones that couldn’t make it…. You were missed!
