SUMMARY:Thank God it's Summer Weeklong Cruise
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Solomons adventure. \nWe’ll pickup from the Springboard Cruise in Knapp’s Narrows and head down the bay on Monday\, June 21st for a 2 night stay at Safe Harbor Zahnisers Marina. Tuesday\, June 22nd explore Solomons Island and possibly meet with the group for dinner. On Wednesday\, June 23rd we will depart Solomons and head to the Little Choptank River to anchor in Hudson Creek. Our happy hour will consist of a dinghy drift on the creek. On Thursday\, June 24th we will move back to the Western shore to visit Rhode River and enjoy the peacefulness of the anchorage. Friday\, June 25th we will head to Rock Hall for captain’s choice of marina\, mooring or anchorage. SUMMARY:Memorial Day Cruise
DESCRIPTION:A cruise to honor those that have sacrificed everything for our freedom! \nAs I think we can all agree\, the best way to sail is to not fight the wind and to sail where the wind is taking us. With that in mind we plan to wait until the day of the cruise or maybe the day before to decide to go North to Worton or South to the Magothy. DESCRIPTION:Time to shake the cobwebs off your brain and your boat. We won’t go far. Just far enough to make sure the engines purrs\, the sails raise\, the boat floats and that the crew still knows what the heck they are doing.  We’re planning a quick trip to Seneca Creek. Sail around for as long as you want or as long as it takes to figure out that all systems are go. \nWe will find a place to tuck in and throw the anchor. SUMMARY:Sock Burning
DESCRIPTION:In the spirit of groundhog day\, or in this case groundhog year\, we are going to forego the in person sock burning event and once again hold a “Virtual Sock Burning.” How does it work? Between now and next Saturday March 20th\, grab the lighter fluid and stoke up the fireplace\, the firepit\, the chimenea or a metal trashcan lid with few sticks in it\, shed your socks and cast them into the flame. Just make sure you film it so that you can share it with the fleet! On March 20th\, upload your video to the NC3 Facebook group page for the rest of the fleet to enjoy. Or\, if you’re using the Facebook mobile app\, wait until Saturday and broadcast your sock burning live using your mobile device! \nTo share a video to the Group using your PC or laptop\, open the Group page and click the “Photo/Video” button to the right of “Write Post.” On the next screen\, click “Upload Photos/Videos” and browse for your video file and select it. Once the video uploads\, you can write a comment\, then click “Post” to share it with the fleet. \nIf you’re not already a member of our Facebook Group you can request to join here.
