SUMMARY:Solomons to North
DESCRIPTION:Early May (Solomons North) WTWB–This cruise will start at Solomons the week of May 13. Below is proposed schedule. \nWe are tentatively planning on departing early the week of May 13. Actual day is still not final but thinking Tuesday. We have no firm date on Saranac availability. This will be a WTWB cruise. \nArrive no later than Sunday 5/12 to allow 2 nights in Solomons (Zanheisers or marina of choice and meet up for gatherings). There are many activities in Solomons to fill the day and will allow one day of rest before heading back up the Bay. \n5/14 Tuesday – cross the bay. depart for Hudson Creek on the Little Choptank. 29 miles. Anchor.\n5/15 Wednesday – leave Hudson Creek for the West River (possibly Chesapeake Yacht club south of Annapolis in Shady Side). 35 miles. Cross the bay.\n5/16 Thursday – leave West River for Rock Hall 28 miles or Tolchester marina/beach 33 miles. Cross the Bay.\n5/17 Friday – leave either Rock Hall (19 miles) or Tolchester for Middle River (10 miles). Cross the Bay. \nHoping by crossing the bay so much it may help w catching the southerly winds.
